Balance Transfer Utilization
See how automatic balance transfers move credit from one season to the next, and how much of it families have used.
Overview
Use Balance Transfer Utilization to see how credit rolled forward when balances were transferred from one season to another. It shows how much credit each family carried over, how much they have applied to their new registration, and how much is still sitting unused.
Credit that rolls over is applied when a family registers in the destination season.
Run the report
Pick the two seasons to compare, then run it.
The season the credit or balance was transferred out of.
The season the credit or balance was transferred into.
Select Run Report to build the comparison for the chosen seasons.
Summary cards
Total credit carried into the destination season, with the number of families it came from.
How much of that credit has been applied to registrations, with the number of families and the overall utilization rate.
Credit that has rolled over but not yet been applied, with the number of families holding it.
Outstanding balances (rather than credits) that carried forward, with the number of families.
Table columns
The family's primary contact.
Whether the family carried over a credit or an owed balance.
The amount moved from the source season.
What the family was charged in the destination season.
How much of the transferred credit has been applied.
Credit still available to apply.
The family's current balance in the destination season.
A quick label summarizing where the family stands.
This report requires the finance features and reporting access. If you do not see it, check that financial reporting is enabled for your login.
Where to find it
Open Balance Transfer Utilization from Reports
Go to Reports > System and select Balance Transfer Utilization.
Choose the source and destination seasons
Pick the From and To seasons, then select Run Report.
