Quickstart for Campium Admins
Configure seasons, sessions, and registration forms so families can start registering and purchasing in your Campium site.
Get your Campium site ready for families to register and purchase in a single setup flow. You will create a season, configure site settings, add sessions, and build a registration form that sells those sessions to the right recipients.
Campium uses the term Session for anything purchasable (for example: Sessions, Expeditions, Classes, Courses, Programs, Products). You can relabel this term under Admin → Site Settings; parents never see this label, it is only visible to admins on the backend.
Before you start, decide how you want to group offerings into seasons (for example, Summer 2025, School Year 2025–26). A clear season structure keeps reporting and registration organized.
Complete your initial setup
Follow these steps in order to get your first offerings live and purchasable.
Create a new season
From the main navigation, go to Seasons → Add New Season.
-
Enter a clear season name such as Summer 2025.
-
Set the start and end dates that cover all sessions in this season.
-
Save the season.
When you finish, you return to the Seasons list and see your new season listed. For more detail on season structure, see Seasons & Sessions.
Configure site settings
Open Admin → Site Settings to configure the basics of your site.
-
On the Basic tab, review items like your organization name and terminology for Sessions.
-
On the Payment Info tab, enter the payment details required to process online payments.
-
Review other tabs as needed; changes auto-save as you make them.
Site Settings control global behavior such as modules, branding, and payments. Learn more in Site Settings.
Create sessions in your season
With your season and settings in place, add the specific offerings families can purchase.
-
Go to Seasons, click your new season, then choose Add New Session.
-
Enter the session name, dates, pricing, capacity, and any other required details.
-
Repeat for each camp, class, or program you want to offer in this season.
Created sessions now exist as products tied to your season, but they are not yet available for purchase. For field-by-field guidance, see Seasons & Sessions.
Create a registration form
Next, build the form families will complete to register and purchase sessions.
-
Go to Forms in the navigation.
-
Click Create Form (or the equivalent button) to start a new form.
-
Give the form a clear name such as Summer 2025 Registration.
-
Save the form to unlock its tabs (Settings, Products Layout, Recipients, Questions, Responses).
This form becomes the main entry point families use to choose sessions and provide required information. For deeper form options, see Forms.
Make sessions available to purchase
Attach your season’s sessions to the registration form so families can add them to their cart.
-
Open Forms, click your registration form, then go to the Products Layout (or Sessions Layout) tab.
-
Add the sessions from your season that you want to sell through this form.
-
Arrange and group sessions in a way that makes sense for families browsing your offerings.
When you finish, the form shows your sessions as purchasable options once it is published to families. Detailed layout options are covered in Forms.
Set recipients for the form
Define which user profiles are eligible to complete this registration form.
-
In your form, open the Recipients tab.
-
Filter User Type to Camper.
-
Set Status filters to include Active, Inactive, and Pending, based on who should be able to register.
-
Save your recipient settings.
Correct recipient filters ensure the right families see the form when they log in. Learn more in Forms.
Add questions for campers and families
Collect the information you need during registration by adding questions to the form.
-
Go to the Questions tab in your form.
-
Add new questions for camper details, medical info, waivers, policies, and any other required information.
-
Organize questions into pages or sections so the form is easy to complete.
-
Save after you add or edit questions.
Once questions are in place, your registration form both sells sessions and captures all necessary data in one flow. Additional options are described in Forms.
