Business Info & Logo
Update your camp business details, logo, and optional DKIM email authentication so families see the right name, contact info, and branding across Campium.
What Business Info & Logo controls
Business Info & Logo settings control the basic details and branding families see when they interact with your camp through Campium.
These details can appear in places like:
- The family portal header or footer
- Automated emails and confirmations
- Printed or exported reports and documents
Keeping this information accurate helps families recognize your camp and know how to contact you.
Changes to Business Info & Logo may not update every screen or document instantly. If something still looks out of date, refresh your browser and re-check a few minutes later.
Open Business Info & Logo from the dashboard
Use the main dashboard navigation to reach the Business Info & Logo section.
Go to Site Settings
From the dashboard, click Admin -> Site Settings in the left sidebar.
Find Business Info & Logo
In Site Settings, look for the Business Info & Logo area or tab. This section groups your camp contact details and logo together.
Once you are in the Business Info & Logo section, you can update your contact information and logo as needed.
Update business and contact information
Use this section to make sure families see the correct camp name and contact details.
Typical fields include:
- Camp or organization name
- Main contact email
- Office phone number
- Mailing or physical address
Review current details
Check the camp name, email, phone number, and address fields. Make a note of anything that is outdated or incorrect.
Edit each field
Click into a field to edit it, then type the correct information. Use the main camp email and phone number families should use to reach your office.
Check formatting
For the address, include street, city, state or province, and postal code on the appropriate lines. For phone numbers, include the area code so families can dial you without confusion.
After updating the text fields, you will save your changes in the section at the bottom of the page (see Saving changes and common issues).
DKIM: verify your email domain (optional)
DKIM settings let you prove that Campium is allowed to send email on behalf of your camp domain, which helps messages stay out of spam folders.
When you enter your camp email domain in the Business Info or contact settings, Campium can generate DKIM records for that domain. The DKIM status may show Not verified until you publish the records and they are detected.
Publishing these records is optional, but strongly recommended to improve email deliverability and reduce the chance of messages going to Spam.
If someone else manages your website or email hosting, share the DKIM records with that person or team. They must add the records at the domain host or DNS provider to complete verification.
How DKIM with CNAME records works
After you enter your email domain, Campium generates several CNAME DNS records that point to DKIM keys hosted by the email service. You need to copy these records exactly and add them to your domain at your DNS or hosting provider.
Detection of the records can take time. DNS changes may take up to 72 hours to fully propagate, so the DKIM status may stay Not verified for a while even if the records are correct.
A typical set of generated DKIM records looks like this:
| Type | Name | Value |
|---|---|---|
| CNAME | xxxxxxxxxx._domainkey | xxxxxxx.dkim.amazonses.com |
| CNAME | xxxxxxxx._domainkey | xxxxxxxx.dkim.amazonses.com |
| CNAME | xxxxxxx._domainkey | xxxxxxx.dkim.amazonses.com |
Your actual values will be different. Always copy the Type, Name, and Value exactly as shown in your own DKIM section.
The page includes links to instructions for common DNS and hosting providers, including GoDaddy, DreamHost, Cloudflare, HostGator, Namecheap, Names.co.uk, and Wix. Use those links if you are not sure where to add CNAME records for your domain.
Set up DKIM for your domain
Use these steps after you have confirmed the main email domain you want Campium emails to come from.
Choose the correct email domain
Look at the main email address you use for outgoing communications, such as info@campbluehills.org. The email domain is the part after the @ symbol (campbluehills.org in this example). Enter or confirm that domain in the Business Info or contact settings so the generated DKIM records match the domain families see in their inbox.
Open the DKIM section and review status
In the Business Info & Logo area, find the DKIM or email authentication section. Check the status line. If it shows Not verified, Campium will generate a list of DKIM CNAME records that you need to publish at your DNS provider.
Copy the generated CNAME records
For each DKIM record shown, copy the Type, Name, and Value exactly as displayed. Avoid adding extra spaces or changing the capitalization. Keep the records handy to paste into your DNS provider.
Add CNAME records at your DNS or hosting provider
Sign in to the provider that manages DNS for your domain (for example, GoDaddy, DreamHost, Cloudflare, HostGator, Namecheap, Names.co.uk, or Wix). In the DNS management area, add a new CNAME record for each DKIM entry, using the copied Name and Value fields. Save or apply changes for all records.
Wait for DNS propagation and confirm verification
After you add the CNAME records, return to the DKIM section in Campium. The status may remain Not verified for some time while DNS updates propagate. Check back periodically over the next few hours or days. Once the records are detected, the status will change to show that your domain is verified.
DKIM verification troubleshooting
If the DKIM status still shows Not verified after 72 hours:
- Confirm that each record uses Type CNAME, not TXT or another type.
- Compare the Name and Value fields at your DNS provider to the generated records in Campium and fix any typos.
- Make sure you added the records under the correct domain (for example,
campbluehills.org, not a different domain or subdomain). - If your DNS provider adds the domain automatically, check whether you need to use the full name (
xxxxxxxxxx._domainkey.campbluehills.org) or only the prefix (xxxxxxxxxx._domainkey), based on their instructions. - Ask whoever manages your domain or DNS to confirm that the records are present and not overridden by other entries.
If everything looks correct and the domain still does not verify, contact your internal Campium administrator or support with screenshots of your DNS records so they can help review the configuration.
Upload or replace your logo
Your logo helps families recognize your camp in the family portal, emails, and reports.
Open the logo area
In the Business Info & Logo section, find the Logo area. You should see your current logo (if you have one) or an empty placeholder.
Upload a new logo
Click Upload, Change logo, or a similar button. In the file picker that opens, select the image file from your computer and confirm.
Replace an existing logo
If a logo is already set, use the same button (for example, Replace, Change, or Upload new) to choose a different image. Confirm the upload, then wait for the new logo preview to appear.
Adjust if needed
If the preview looks cut off or stretched, try uploading a different version of your logo with more padding around the edges or closer to a square shape.
For the clearest logo:
- Use a simple version of your logo without tiny text or complex details.
- Choose an image that works well at small sizes (for example, in an email header).
- Prefer a square or nearly square image so it fits most layouts cleanly.
- Use a modern image format like PNG with a transparent background if available.
If your logo looks fuzzy, try uploading a higher-quality image rather than a screenshot or photo of your logo.
Verify how your changes look
After you update your business details and logo, confirm what families will see.
Check the on-screen preview
Look for a preview of your logo and contact information directly in the Business Info & Logo section. Confirm that the camp name, email, phone, and address look correct.
Open the family portal
In a new browser tab, open your family portal link. Check the header or footer for the updated camp name and logo, and confirm the logo looks sharp and not cut off.
Review outgoing communications or reports
If your site uses automated emails or downloaded reports, send a test message or export a sample report. Check that the name and logo appear as expected where branding is shown.
If you do not see the updates, see Saving changes and common issues below.
Saving changes and common issues
Always save your changes and compare what you see on the screen to what families see.
Save your changes
Save before leaving the page
Scroll to the bottom (or top, depending on the layout) of the Business Info & Logo section and click Save, Save changes, or a similar button. Wait for a confirmation message or check that the button is no longer highlighted.
Refresh other tabs
If you had the family portal, email previews, or reports open in another tab, refresh those pages so they load your new settings.
If you close your browser tab or navigate away from Site Settings before clicking Save, your new business details and logo will not be applied.
Common issues and how to fix them
Logo looks blurry or stretched
- Try uploading a higher-quality image of your logo instead of a screenshot.
- Use a logo that is closer to a square shape so it does not get stretched.
- Avoid logos with very thin lines or tiny text that disappear at small sizes.
Wrong contact email or phone showing
- Return to Admin -> Site Settings and open Business Info & Logo again.
- Check if you have multiple email or phone fields (for example, a billing email and a main office email).
- Update the field that is actually being used as the main contact and Save.
- Refresh the family portal or email preview to confirm the correct contact details appear.
Changes are not showing for families
- Confirm you clicked Save in the Business Info & Logo section.
- Refresh your browser and sign out then sign back in to the dashboard if needed.
- Open the family portal in a private or incognito window to rule out browser caching.
- If the old information still appears after a short time, contact your internal Campium administrator or support for help reviewing your settings.
