Discount reports
Review how discounts are used across your camp with three views: a usage summary, a season breakdown, and a per-person detail list.
What the discount reports show
The discount reports tell you how much your discounts are being used and what they cost you in revenue. There are three related views:
-
Discount Summary – total quantity and value for each discount.
-
Discount Summary Breakdown – the same totals broken out so you can see usage within a date range.
-
Discount by Person – every registration a single discount was applied to, with contact and balance details.
Compare the totals here with the Discounts figure on the Revenue Summary to understand how much discounts reduced your overall revenue.
Discount Summary
The Discount Summary lists each discount once, with how many times it was used and its total value. Pick a season or program group with the season picker, or leave it unset to include All Seasons.
Columns
Name or description of the discount. Select it to open the Discount by Person view for that discount.
Number of times the discount was applied.
Total value of the discount across all uses.
A footer row shows the grand total quantity and grand total discount value across every discount.
Discount Summary Breakdown
The Breakdown view shows the same Discount, Quantity, and Total columns, but adds a date range picker so you can see discount usage for a specific window (it defaults to the last 30 days). Use it to check how discounts were used during a promotion or a reconciliation period.
Limits the breakdown to one season or program group.
Start and end dates that limit which discount uses are counted.
Discount by Person
Selecting a discount from the summary opens a detailed list of every registration it was applied to. Use this to verify who received a discount and to follow up on outstanding balances.
Columns
The person the discount was applied to. Links to their profile.
The primary contact on the family account, linked to their profile.
The season or program group the registration belongs to.
The reason recorded when the discount was applied.
The person's birthday, age, and rising grade, when on file.
When the registration was recorded.
The discount amount applied to this registration.
The balance still owed on the account. The footer totals both the amount and the balance columns.
Depending on your setup, extra columns such as product description, phone, and email may also appear.
Add your own profile fields as columns
Select Display Columns above the table to choose profile fields (for example, cabin or group) to add as extra columns. Check the fields you want, save, and they appear in the table and exports.
