How do I skip the deposit?

Steps

1. Open Admin -> Discounts

2. When creating or editing a discount find the setting Bypass payment at portal checkout.

3. Set it to Yes.

4. Save changes.

What this does

• Portal checkout allows registration without immediate deposit/payment but ensures the family puts an account on file.

• Families can finish checkout now, payment can be collected later.

Quick test

1. Open parent portal flow for your sit

2. Start test registration.

3. Confirm checkout no longer requires deposit to complete.

If it still asks for deposit

• Confirm setting saved in correct account/site.

• Recheck Bypass payment at portal checkout = Yes.

• Check other payment rules/required fees in the same settings area.

• Retry in private/incognito window to avoid cached session values.
